We all have a responsibility to take environmental matters seriously. At Solutions in Technology Ltd we take every effort to minimise the impact the day to day running of our business has on the environment. It also makes sound business sense too. When supplying office equipment such as printers, faxes and multifunctional devices, it is our policy to encourage the use of papers from sustainable sources, and where possible, the use of new generation waterless inks which are kinder to the environment. We recycle all cardboard.paper, ink cartridges, glass, aluminium cans and plastics.

All parts and consumables which we retrieve from unused machines are taken directly to our offical recyling plant a few miles away.  This way we can guarantee that all metal, plastic and glass are correctly recycled and reused where possible.

We also operate a company car share scheme and use public transport wherever possible.

Computers, monitors, printers, photocopiers and scanners are switched off at the end of each working day. All lights and all non essential equipment are turned off when not in use. When buying office consumables such as tea, coffee etc, we always opt for Fairtrade products. Even the toilet rolls we use are made from recycled paper.
